Too much. It would be worth it if it was a 08 with the newer hull. 96-07 are the same. You can get a few year older ski with some decent mods for around 3 and would enjoy the ski much better then a bone stock 07 IMO.

I think you could probably talk a dealer into giving you a brand new 09 for $5500 out the door. If you have that much to spend you might want to buy new. That way you could finance if you wanted too.
I'm not sure if you really want the pre 08 design or the 08/09 design though. It sounds like there is considerable difference in the way the two ride.

Hmm. an 07 for 3500 would be a good deal. I'd say even 4000 would be ok. I just got my 01 for $3000 with quite a bit of basic mods (b-pipe, stainless impeller, ignition module, flame arrestors, extended ride plate, toploader intake grate, wider handlebars, aluminum throttle lever, milled head (for more compression) and prob a few that I can't remember right now.
I think my deal was outstanding (for me) since I would do most of those mods on my own.
A mint 07 if it's black would be sweet. Many say the 96-07 are more mod friendly. The black color alone would have me pay $4000, but that's me.
I would say that $5500 is way too much and that he/she has had no one interested in it at that price so you are like water in a dessert if you are offering real money. lol.

I know what ski you talkin about...the one located in brooklyn. I wanted to buy it but they wouldnt really come down to a fair price.
Like said above, 96-07 is the exact same ski. I settled for a '00 that was virtually brand new for much cheaper. Now all that extra cash i saved goes into mods....just the way I see it. Although the black skis are bad ass IMO.

I didnt actually go look at it cuz I told her right off the bat your outta your mind askin $5500. I offered 4k granted I came down and the ski was as clean as the pics show. She wouldnt go lower then 4500, which was still too high for me. The pics of it looked clean but no matter how clean it is they were still askin too much IMO. I know the ski was ridden in salt water also, I dont know how you feel about that.
As for her being hot, im not sure I only talked to her through email. But i know she was pregnant so someone thinks shes attractive haha. She seemed like she typed w/ an accent like broken english? If so, thats hot haha

I paid 3900 for a 07 in april so i'd say topping out at 4000 would be about right
