Is this whole lake controlled by the Corps?? If so then how is moving to a different spot going to help. If not then great but I thought the problems was with drinking and being loud after lights out (9:30)

Is the new place a dry camp ground is beddy by time at 9:30

What about a new lake? Is Lanier that great? I don't want to sound like a smart ass because I am not trying to be that way just have some legit questions

lanier is only a great lake because the size of boats on the south side of the lake. ive been to the north side .just wasnt the big boats like the south side. so the event could be held at another lake.there are big boats all over the lake just sucks that baldridge want let the event happen.im sure it will be fun where ever it is.keep in mind if it is held early may bring your wetsuits it can still be very cold and the bigger boats tend to not be so out early in the season depending on weather.

Yes we out grew Baldridge.............. The `Ride is moving!!!

There is way more to what we do than chasing Big boats & Jumping!
These big rides are as much a social gathering as they are a riding event.

Right now, espically after Daytona, we are being watched by not only the industry, but the boating public as a whole. For the first time since the first PWC was introduced, WE are promoting a positive image!!!
Yes, your heard me, A POSITIVE IMAGE!!!!. I have been in contact with the officials in Daytona. This is a city where they are bombarded several times a year by the likes of Spring breakers, Bikers, race car fans, conventions, etc. The Daytona Freeride is the ONLY group that brought back to the town. Had ZERO incidents!! & brought a positive revenu to the beach community!!!! Those are facts!!!!
At the end of the last Lanier Ride, the rangers who work with us, evaluated what was going on & made a suggestion to move to another campground. They suggested Duckett Mill. Yes it's off the beaten path, but That is good for us. I'm meeting with them next week to arrange for a Date & a secluded area for our riders. There are several things planned that will sure get your jollies off, as far as air time & the such. WE are choosing to WORK with the community, rather than buck the system. In the end, you will experiance a much better event, Have way less hassles, & again be seen in a POSITIVE light. THat is good for the sport!!!!
Myself , with the help of several others , started these rides about 5 years ago. from a gathering of 15-20 people, to the Daytona ride of 270 boats, I think we have a pretty good handle on what makes this sport tick. Our ultimate goal is to grow the sport. So far we are succeeding.
Lets not ruin the momentum, just because you want a few beers & want to jump some wakes!!! Belive in the RIDE

Hmmm is this a ride or bible camp. :hail: :hail:

I am sure it will be a great time away from Baldridge. Glad to see it will be larger than last year.

I'm certainly not the one you would want teaching Bible studies.........:sneaky:

I just want a ride that will be rembered for the riding & the progression of the sport & not the horrors of dealing with BS

Is there any way that the powers that be can put together a little description of the buildoff? What it is, why, what the rules are, etc. I just want to be clear on things myself, but also there are a few people I'm dealing with that need to know and I'm having a tough time getting the point across. Is the buildoff big enough to have different categories or classes this time? I figure that now is a good time to start laying it out so that I'm not aiming for a moving target.

Make sure you tell them we don't want any BS from them or we will move this ride to the Lake of the Ozarks where the boats and waves are bigger and party cove is off the hook. LOL :cheer: :cheer:

We could always have one on Lake Martin, that would be funny as hell with 200 plus riders invading Chimney rock.
