06 SXR with TBM Parts

will be looking at an 06 with TBM ride plate, grate, rear sponsons and pole tensioner, beach cart and stand, bilge pump w/ remote switch. guy says it has about 15 hrous on it and in show room condition...I am going to top out at 3800, 3900, 4000k. Is that fair? the other option is an 04 super jet in decient shape for 4300.

Also, I am realizing that with all the TBM stuff he was racing stock class with it, how much ware and tear will that put on the motor, does kill a ski like when youride in the surf?

I have been racing my 04 since I bought it in May 2004 with the same basic setup. Raced full season 2004, short season 2005, Long season 2006 2 races in 07 and 1 Race plus Nationals in 2008. Never had to turn a wrench, compression is still right where it was when I got it. I think I may be on the 4th set of plugs. I went 2 seasons on the original plugs. Sounds like a pretty good deal.

If there is only 15 hours on it then it can't have that much wear and tear

I have beat my 07 hard with no problems to speak of, well,,, I just put plugs in it this weekend because I thought it was a good idea.
15 hours, thats like 3 day weekend of riding for me
