06-08 X2's?

Auatrailia is the only country with any left in stock. $9500USD plus shipping, no guarantees of passing Customs or EPA checks as the X2 does not carry a conformity certificate. Also there are issues with registration as you do not get an MSO with the ski, which is almost always required for registration. Right now there are about 10 - 12 here in the USA, some registered, some not...

The 800 X2 was only made in 2005, 06 and 07. I have never seen an 07, but saw them listed at a Japanese Kawi site last year, prior to their sell out of that model. They were made in limited quantities, only 500 per year for a total of 1500 units for world wide distribution (except North America). Some of the 07 models went to France for the Kawasaki X2 Cup where they were fitted with a pipe and certain mods for a spec class that only lasted 1 year.

yes, they were sold in teh US....JSU had them..

call em, cant hurt...they may know of one locally for sale
I was offered a hull recently, but $5500 for an empty one was a bit steep for me.:smashfreakB:

I dont think you will find one in the US. Not from JSU, Macc racing, ext.

Trinity does have one on the way, it is suppose to be on a boat some time this week.

Prices will be anounced soon I am sure.

This should bring on a new level of freeride...... Think of what Ross could do up-side down if he had fixed steer. :bigok:

dang, those things seem rare almost... how much do they retail for anyway?

$9500.USD

Chris Macluggage(sp) was selling them

He was trying to but only one person ever put a deposit down for one so he gave up due to lack of interest. Alot of people talked the talk but when it came time to do it....
Too bad because he was going to sell them at nearly COST and absorb all the shipping costs as well and sell them for only $8500.

JSU has stopped selling them so there are no more US dealers importing them, it a DIY situation now if you want a genuine Kawasaki. I am interested to see what Trinity has!

thanks for the info....

We will be producing a lightweight x-2. The purchase is finally through and suppose to ship this week. It took me six to eight months to find one and it was the last one available. I tried everyone of the companies mentioned in America and all were sold out for some time. This project is one I've wanted to do for 2 years or so. This ski will be built to race or freestyle/freeride. I will start a post soon as things progress. When I post I will offer position holding deposits of $1,000.00 for 10 skis. When your number comes up the remainder of a 50% deposit is due, then 50% when finished. These will be the top of the line of after market hulls. We are a new company in the ski industry, but by no means to the composite industry. The quality of these hulls have impressed a handful of very creditable companies in the watercraft industry. Having said that we will only improve on our efforts to provide the best in the world. I thank all who took the risk of buying from a new company to allow the growth needed to expand on new projects in such short order. The fifth ski since January 08 left today with two more contracted. There also has been 13 hoods shipped (knock on fiberglass) with no issues. Thanks again to everyone who has helped.

A lightweight Trinity x2 hull and a SD 951 would be an awesome machine to rip ass across the water. I wonder how much room is inside those hulls. Probably tighter than an sxr.
