I'm assuming you have a bn44 carb? Mikuni has upgraded there rebuild kit's to 2.0 n/s with i believe a 14# pop off.You can double check on the Mikuni watercraft web page and any good Motorcycle shop should be able to get it for you. Or order it from Mikuni but only buy Genuine Mikuni Rebuild kit's

well that has been a thought but after i sand it with 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper to get it real smooth the clear will not stick same as you would on paint cut and buff.. Just have to keep it polished with NEVER DULL Thank's for the Idea

That's why I think i Painted it the First time Back in the 90's got tired of polishing. You Polish the nose brace, pole clean all the chrome in the Engine bay. every time i pulled the Engine clean the Chrome bedplate that i still have in a tote with other Chrome Part's got tired of cleaning LOL.
