Yes the stock gasket will work against outside of VF3.

Ok here’s the order I have the parts installed. ADA Reed Spacer gasket to case, ADA spacer, VF3 Reed Gasket, VF3 Cages, VF3 gasket, stock manifold gasket, Stock plate, the other manifold gasket, and finally intake manifold. How does this look?? If I just need longer hardware I can get it...

The ADA spacer kit came with the hardware. The 4 studs and the other Allen bolts were there. Just not long enough. Literally 0 thread available when I have it together. The studs are about 1/8” from clearing outside of intake. I’ll have to get longer hardware for sure.

I bought a set of VF3 reeds for my 62t/61x, b pipe, MSD, ADA girdled Head, Stock intake manifold, stock carbs. Added the ADA Reed Spacer and installed VF3 and the hardware is a little short that came with the ADA Spacer. Anyone else have this issue? I know the VF3 add more length due to them...

I’m running 62t/61x, dual 38, 135/75, msd, b pipe. Stock reeds, for now...... What should I be looking for in pop off pressure. I’m at sea level and getting 30 psi on both now. Thanks!!!!

Thanks but I have an extra one just in case. I really wanted to do the Mod to the newer midshaft housing bc the SN stuff will be harder to find in the future. Especially OEM. Thanks for all the replies so far! Y’all rock!!

Is this aftermarket or OEM? I’ve learned my lesson on AM parts for Superjets... my current SN I’ve put a lot of work into. Rockered, widened tray, reinforcement throughout the hull front to back. Was a full resto/custom build. I can buy a newer RN but I really enjoy bringing back the SN.

Well fellas can it be done? Has anyone ever changed a stock SN midshaft to the newer RN? Is it possible? With the shortage of NEW OEM SN midshafts I’m looking to convert if it’s possible. Thanks y’all!!!!
