Yeah I removed the fuse assembly and just plugged the wires together. It cranks but is not getting spark.

It came from a running ski or so I was told all other parts were new except the spare flywheel I had that on the shelf for a while. I tried switching the old cdi back in it at least had spark most of the time. And still nothing.

My fx1 was losing spark intermittently while riding. So I started replacing electronics. So far I have replaced the coil, cdi, regulator, stator, and flywheel and still haven't gotten spark back. I disconnected the stop switch also so I know it's not that. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

I know this is an old thread but I lost spark on my fx1 and have replaced all electronics and flywheel and still have no spark. How did you fix your issue?

Did you fix your ski? I lost all spark on my ski. Still haven't got it back after replacing the flywheel and all electronics. Wondering what you found wrong with yours

Sometimes if you dont have the shaft coupler cover it will fling water all around in the engine compartment and make it run like poop i had this problem. I put shaft cover on and a water proof prescreen on te flame arrester and its all good know

Dont machine it flat ill trade you a protec plate for that shred master if your just gonna make it flat anyways

Are you going to port match the manifolds. Part or the reason the sleeper kits worked well is because the cylinder is ported but the manifolds are also machined to match the cylinder porting.

Fx1 is my favorite ski i tried some built square noses and just could get the feel for them

For the price of the boyseen power reeds I couldnt beat the responsiveness

I was one of the guys in that group on pwctoday. Bob Morgan the owner of shredmaster would have made a run if there were 3 to 5 guys ordering them but he passed away suddenly about a week ago so who knows what gonna happen with the shop
