I had exactly the same problem on my b1, it was a split in the exhaust coupler, engine moved on the cornering and exhaust gasses choked the engine!

Thanks, my waterbox fits great, I think I might drill the breather holes further back and angle the tubes towards the engine, like Eric malone said to me he has had to route the steering cable Infront of the chamber! Will post some pics of the outcome!

That's pretty much the setup I have in my q8,i have just about finished the build but havnt ridden it yet! Can't wait and hope it rips! How do you find the power delivery etc?

They are a ugly ski arnt they! Think it's the way the graphics follow the lines on the nose! I will make it more like the dvx. Will prob keep the hull for 2015 and try and find a dvx!

I've just about completed my eme q8 build and it's time for paint. I've drawn a total blank on the colour to do it! At the mo I am favouring a matt black or gloss black with neon green or neon orange graphics. Pretty much like the dvx! Any ideas guys and could you post picks up please of you...

thanks for the info guys, they seem to be great engines. i cant afford the pfp so i can use my bored b pipe,so best off going 48's then or would 46 power bombs be good (ive been told these are great set up). at least i would run is a light charging flywheel and some sort of enhancer cdi

JamesG isn't the factory waterbox exactly the same size as stock round nose? I ran one years back but now use a moded stock one now that's better! Thanks for replies, I don't want a silly loud ski.

what is the best water box do you run in your eme q8's? it will be a yami motor with b pipe? i just read a post that they didnt run one? wouldnt this be seriously loud and not run right?

evening all, just joined as i have just picked up a eme q8 and you seem to have way more info on here than in the uk where i am from. i have two superjets now but will be using one for my donor ski for the q8. the hull ive got is not set up for the yam so i will be making all the adapters etc...

Great build thread. I have just bought a eme q8 and have pretty much exactly the same engine set up as you from my superjet. I was thinking of using the kawi pump but I prefer the yami one so I might do as you have.rather than cutting the plate could I use long spacers under ride plate? Thanks
