I agree that a 144 would be a better match for that 61x. However….. I’m going to bet that hull is setup with 155 shoe, so for less buy, sell, repeat a flat prop 155 makes sense. And that sweet hull is gonna need a bigger motor in the future.

If you’re using that 61x with an OEM 155 a 7/11 or 7/12 is going to be way too tall. I ran a 7/12 in an OEM 155 with an 898 PHP/PFP, for a 61x go as low pitch as you can find, like a 5/9 or 5/10…

I went back and edited my original post, my flush enters a tee on the front port of the exhaust manifold cooling inlet, not the head. With 4 head pissers and where you’re teeing in your not going to see a lot out of the head pissers, but you’re still flushing out thru the inlets at the pump.
