At the river ski was running fine then one time went to start it and starter was just spinning but engine not cranking. Thought it was the starter so I had that rebuilt. Put the starter back in a same thing starter is spinning but motors not engaging.

I just installed WDK pole bracket and Hood hooks. but now my hoodside hooks are rubbing on the pole bracket. why is this happening?
