this ride plate. Just bought ski and not sure what its sat in, what is this and what will take it off? I used a wire brush on a drill to get the flat areas but before I scrape all the little squares I wonder what I could spray on or dip it in? Thought about CLR but it says not to use on aluminum.

Anyone know how tall the post would need to be to use a Stoltz bow stop? U think it would be safe to use the small strap at the end of this to loop and connect to the hook?

New trailer and unsure how to secure SJ at the bow. On old trailer I used the Stoltz bow stop but this looks to have a short vertical post and I am not sure one of those would work. Thought about getting a winch strap with the smaller strap at the end, loop it thru the hole on the SJ and...
