to me, the “set back” feature makes the rear of ski feel more stuck to the water. Harder for it to break loose because the ski is holding on to a larger scoop of water

@High Speed Industries stocks those - I had to get a few as I was losing them initially. The secret is to be conservative with loctite. If you use too much it gets on the sides of the bolt head or in the bushing and it will grab and unscrew itself. The tolerances are pretty small.

What techniques do you guys use to verify powervalve operation?
Do you rev the ski on the trailer and watch for operation?
Do you pump up the cylinder similar to a leak down test and record a certain psi?
Are different weight springs available?
