I dont follow what you are recommending here...but I put in a blowsion spring in about 15 minutes last night with a big :-):-):-):-)ing hammer. It'l go in...just stick a screwdriver through the side the bolt isnt, and use it to pry the spring.

Glad you said that because I was talking about the clear plastic tube that came with the battery. after digging around in my ski today I found the actual battery vent line that runs up into the pole...problem solved. Thanks guys

I just picked up a new Yuasa YB16CLB, just wondering what you guys do with the vent hose, do you leave it connected to the battery while its in the ski? Or disconnect it.

I like this idea, will I need to reinforce the inside of the trailer box? I havent seen one in person yet.

If I just let some length out on the winch and tighten it to the bow eye would that be good enough? I cant figure out where to mount the bow eye stop without having something welded up.

I just picked up a Yacht Club trailer, and I have my FX-1 sitting on it, I was just wondering how you all secure it to the trailer, there is like 2 feet of gap between the front of the ski and the bow stop, which is the "V" shaped stop for a boat hull. Thank you.

Well, as the title says I just picked up a 95 FX-1 here in Rochester. I'd been searching for a decent superjet for the last few months, then this popped up for sale. It was owned by an older gentleman who said it bothered his back to ride it anymore, he refused to buy a couch so he is retiring...

I found a FX1 cover on ebay last week still in the sealed box..mfg tag says 10/93. It's purple and epic. Keep your eyes peeled on there.
