I am about to put on a new crank bearing. I didn't realize that there was a little sleeve on there too. Is that still required for the wsm bearing? I have now Idea how I am going to get that on there. there is nothing to get a hold of to press it on.
Do the seal and bearings go in the housing first or do you put them around the shaft first?
The bearing can go in either direction right?
does the front seal go in this way?
or this way?
do the two back seals go in the this way?
or this way?
can some one walk me through the process of replacing the bearing and seal in my midshaft? I don't know where to start. I have tried prying the bid seal out but it is not doing anything but tearing to shreds.
casualties so far 10ish drill bits, one drill press and possibly a headpipe...
I have never been so frustrated working on my ski in my life. how the junk do you guys get these adamantium/tungsten screws out?
some of the videos I have seen on youtube show people putting a light coat of epoxy on and letting it get a little tacky and then laying the carbon down. I have never heard any one mention this method on here. Whats the best way to keep the carbon from fraying and looking like crap when you lay it?
