    LIVE2RIDE Powersports

Purchased a starter and bendix. They were in better condition then described. A couple of month's ago I purchased a wear ring. I could sell the wear ring as brand new, that is how clean it is. Very prompt, great communication. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Custom/Hybrid Just Got Done Turfing My FR-2

So the camo/waffle on the side rails and dash was already there, as well as the black groove/diamond on the side rails. I removed what I needed and turfed around the existing stuff that I felt looked pretty good from the previous owner. I added 25mm under padding and finally got my rear...

Other Can't ride just as winter is upon us... stupid inner ear balance system

So doctors diagnosed me with Labyrinthitis. I have/had a viral infection that attacked the balance system of the deep inner ear. I've been dizzy/uncoordinated/disoriented for over two weeks now. I'm still in the chronic healing stage which could last as little as one week, months, or even years...

Custom/Hybrid Is my midshaft OK? How about my throttle shaft?

So I got my FR2 torn apart because I need to re-align the entire driveline. Midsahft: Should there be that much grease there? Any time I removed one on a superset I don't remember that. Do you think the seals in the midshaft housing could be leaking? Also, on a superjet, there was...

Other How do you get your Rickter gas tank to not rotate?

I'm running a b-pipe and a stock gas tank. How are you guys preventing it from rotating while you ride. I have tried turfing the floor under the tank, but that didn't help. Wedging a brick of turf/padding between the side of the tank and the pipe chamber helps, but I don't like pushing the...

Surfriding Best way to heat up my engine... can't find what I'm looking for on McMaster

So my engine runs way too cool. I ride 95% in the California surf. Water coming out of the bypass fittings is only warm... maybe 70-80 degrees. I have 1/2" ID cooling coming from the pump, 1/2" ID through the bulkhead, and 1/2" ID on my manifold. Running dual cooling. I want to restrict...

Surfriding She's Alive!!!! My Rickter FR2

I rode my FR2 for the first time yesterday. I loved it. The surfed sucked, but I still have a blast. Running my Jet Works ported 61x cylinder 62t case engine. Ported exhaust manifold and head pipe, along with a single Jetworks Black Jack 46. Stock pump with a Hooker prop. Bunch of cold...

Other Needle and Seat: Needles interchangeable?

So I ordered everything to rebuild my carb, except I ordered the wrong size N&S. I should have ordered a 2.5 N&S, but I actually ordered a 2.3 N&S. My question is, can I just use the needle from the new one I ordered and place it in my older seat? I already inspected the old seat, to me...

Super Jet Blowsion Aluminum replacement handlepole pivot shaft / pole bolt

Thought this was interesting. Hadn't seen this before of heard of anybody running one. Saw this on the IJSBA World Final advertisement I got in the mail yesterday. Looks like the hex head of the bolt might be smaller so that you can remove the bolt without either grinding the head of the bolt...

    Bendix Goes BOOOOM!!!!

When we rode on Saturday near the end of the ride we stopped and took a rest in the water for about 5 minutes. When I started up my engine, it felt like I had a dieing battery. It started, made it back to the ramp, drove home.... Started my ski to flush it out and heard a strange noise. It...

Stripped steering cable holder threads on X-metal pole... help

What do you think I can do here? The threads are stripped where the cable holder bracket screws into the pole. I don't really see being able to tap it larger because the bottom of the hole is already paper thin. Maybe there is a tiny bit larger standard size bolt thread that I can tap into...
