so once again wife was riding my ski, it was running well. she said it lost power, sounded funny and then died, she was unable to restart it. she swam it in. I couldnt get it to start, replaced coil ( the old had the wires cut back nearly too short I happened to have a good one with me)...

may I assume that all 650/701, and 760 engines use the same flywheel key? its $5.09 from Riva, seems silly for a woodruff key. anyone got a cheaper source, or better yet, the measurements so I can order a bag of them from mcmaster carr?

or so it seems. It was running great, went thru a couple of tanks of fuel, I rode it morning and afternoon, ran great, wife rides for nearly an hour, mostly just putting around, brings it back and docks it. I get on it an hour later, and it barely starts, and wont rev, sputtering. I circle...

so I got this pipe, and Kennay said something about shortening the stinger to make it easier to install. thats GOOD, since the stinger got deformed in shipping. will it hurt or change the performance of the pipe if I trim 3/4" off of the stinger tube? ( its like 5 inches long...)

my xt225 has TINY footpegs. anyone got some old stockers that I might could adapt for short $$$? Ill post some pics of the pegs and mounting pics later, I swear they are smaller than the pegs on my little girls pw50!

jeebus... that was a fun trip to the boat ramp. ski sat there and idled for 5 minutes for me to unlock trailer, and get a screwdriver. finally closed the pilot adjustment screw and it died. pulling lanyard wouldnt kill it, red button wouldnt kill it, and even wiggled the black/white...

well, sort of. some one bored this carb to 53mm, and it worked AWESOME. its always been crackled, and thin walled. and this weekend it finally gave. Ive been riding it for 2 days with out opening the hood, no idea when it broke. ran fine this way... went ahead and yanked engine...
