Been stinking hot here, motor and pipe good but waterbox pretty hot. Anyone got any temperatures to share?

My 90 SN was driving me nuts. Run great one minute, wouldn't rev up the next. Once water box cleared out it ripped then load up again die. Tuning did nothing. Pulled exhaust hose and OMFG. A miracle it ran at all!

1990 Squarenose would run erratically, sometimes rip, sometimes wouldn't rev up at all. Pulled exhaust hose and no wonder it wouldn't clear out the waterbox. New hose, back to ripping ; ) !!

Does it take to keep a Tigercraft afloat? There is one at the bottom of a local lake right now so I'm adding floatation.

Removed bolt, mounted flywheel puller and cold fusion lock. Tightened everything down, PB Blaster on the crank snout. Hitting it with an air wrench and . . . . nothing. Any further suggestions? Letting it sit in tension for a while Thanks!

Ski would start up on reduced power, like 1 cylinder, eventually fire off and run ok. Occasional fail to rev up. Does this with MSD and OEM CDI. The charge coil is putting out 28 volts, where normal should be 30 to 50. All other readings in spec. Have I found the cause?

Do they burn out like a light bulb and fail to operate completely? Or do they run poorly/intermittently? Thanks!

I noticed that the pisser coming off the head (dual cooled, 2 pissers) becomes foamy once the motor warms up. Cannot get the motor tuned, maybe a water jacket leak? Seems to be running on one cylinder but both plugs are hot to the touch. Any ideas?

If I take a break from riding and lounge in the water, it restarts, acts like it is running on one cylinder for a minute, then clears out and is OK. What causes this? THANKS

So, I have a 61x/61x, 46mm mikuni, ADA head, freestyle porting, MSD enhancer, B headpipe with C4 chamber, 1990 SN First rebuild I started at 120 pilot and 150 main, detonated and burned a piston. So with fresh rebuild, I went rich: 132.5 pilot, 165 main, 2.3 n&s, 80 gr spring, ended up at 1 turn...

According to the label, my Stabil is expired. Do they make stabilizer for Staybil? How can stabilizer expire anyway? WTH????

Anyone else running one? I have one about 5 years old and cannot get cylinders to seal. Do these heads warp or flex as they get old? Thanks!

Ski runs fine until you cut it off. Restarts on one cylinder due to water leakage into front cylinder. Front piston steam cleaned. Replaced o-rings, no change. 61x/61x with shark fab head. Ran great for 5 years and now this. Thinking cracked cylinder or dropped sleeve. Any suggestions?

Is it OK to run a 800 PV motor on premix? Oil system is now junk. What ratio should I use on this motor? Thanks!!

Looks like it can be done by just pulling the gas tank in my SN. Anything make it better to pull the motor or make this approach not work?
