    Hose failure

    My 90 SN was driving me nuts. Run great one minute, wouldn't rev up the next. Once water box cleared out it ripped then load up again die. Tuning did nothing. Pulled exhaust hose and OMFG. A miracle it ran at all!

    Super Jet Found the problem!

    1990 Squarenose would run erratically, sometimes rip, sometimes wouldn't rev up at all. Pulled exhaust hose and no wonder it wouldn't clear out the waterbox. New hose, back to ripping ; ) !!

    Flywheel removal help

    Removed bolt, mounted flywheel puller and cold fusion lock. Tightened everything down, PB Blaster on the crank snout. Hitting it with an air wrench and . . . . nothing. Any further suggestions? Letting it sit in tension for a while Thanks!

    Stator test

    Ski would start up on reduced power, like 1 cylinder, eventually fire off and run ok. Occasional fail to rev up. Does this with MSD and OEM CDI. The charge coil is putting out 28 volts, where normal should be 30 to 50. All other readings in spec. Have I found the cause?

    Pisser changes as engine warms

    I noticed that the pisser coming off the head (dual cooled, 2 pissers) becomes foamy once the motor warms up. Cannot get the motor tuned, maybe a water jacket leak? Seems to be running on one cylinder but both plugs are hot to the touch. Any ideas?

    If I take a break from riding and lounge in the water, it restarts, acts like it is running on one cylinder for a minute, then clears out and is OK. What causes this? THANKS

    Super Jet water in cylinder

    Ski runs fine until you cut it off. Restarts on one cylinder due to water leakage into front cylinder. Front piston steam cleaned. Replaced o-rings, no change. 61x/61x with shark fab head. Ran great for 5 years and now this. Thinking cracked cylinder or dropped sleeve. Any suggestions?

    Looks like it can be done by just pulling the gas tank in my SN. Anything make it better to pull the motor or make this approach not work?
