    Kurt is the man! I blew my 750sx Kawi motor just before week long vacation at LKN. He hooked me up with a used motor, a space to work and assistance in swapping motors. We were back on the water that afternoon. Thanks Kurt for the good deal on the motor, the help installing and all the support.

    Super Jet Weird intermittant problem - Suggestions?

    I blew off a cooling line and overheated my 61x pipe motor never got too hot. Replaced o-rings. Now at times it will not rev up over idle Occasionally it does it while riding too. Carb is clean, stator tests OK. Any suggestions?

    Super Jet Girdled Head Torque

    ADA says 18 on the head bolts 23 on the girdle Yamaha service manual says 25/29 (29 is for cylinder bolts, assume same as girdle) Saw a thread where Chucky recommends 23/35 I was quoted 21/30-35 in another thread. What do you run?? Thanks!

    Super Jet Found my problem?

    Ski lost one cooling fitting, pipe got a little warm. ported 61x/61x. C4 pipe. It then started to not rev up on occasion. felt like the powerband wasn't there Pulled head and found this. O-rings look ok, but do you think it looks like my rear piston was power-washed?

    FCV fails open

    What happens if a FCV fails in the open position? It feels like my exhaust is flooded and will not allow motor to rev up. Could this be a bad fcv or is it something else. Revs up fine out of the water.

    suddnely not liking restarts

    my SN used to restart at the touch of a button now it wants gas and cranking plugs look fine, piston wash a tad rich ported 61x/61x, 35 cc domes, MSD, B pipe headpipe and C4 chamber mikuni 46 commercial with 120/150. 1 1/2 turns hi and low, 2.5 n&s still runs strong, no hesitation, bogging etc...

    Kurt is a good guy to work with. Hooked me up with a nice SN hood very reasonable. Also hooked me up with a repair on my 500. I bought my SN off him 6 years ago and that motor is still gtg. I need to get my sorry arse to LKN to ride this summer ;)

    trying to clean up cases someone coated with tons of RTV acetone doesn't cut it. any tips? thanks!!

    are these bearings properly lined up?

    working on the couch, replacing some leaking gaskets do these bearings look properly lined up? I tried to get them straight, not sure what to do with the metal shrapnel I found :rolleyes:

    Super Jet No way to treat a fresh new Hooker!

    Making her chop wood! :ugh: Less than an hour and a half on a rebuilt pump and New Hooker and I sucked up a beauty. Major vibration! Solid hardwood, had to be broken apart to be removed. Needle-nose vice grips slowly ripped it apart.

    Super Jet Solas Mag Pump Ate My Bearings- How About You?

    Less than 15 hours on new seals and bearings in a Solas mag. Bearings in bad shape, grinding, leaking rusty water. beat up my hooker pretty badly and took out my midshaft. Anyone else having this problem? thanks!

    any tips? does the whole cable come out the back of the ski? reassembly tips? help!
