I also am running a custom aluminum fuel tank… don’t remember if it was necessary for clearance or I just wanted to make one??

I am running a RN superjet waterbox and a mod length b-pipe into the stock 550 SX rear exhaust

I have had older 1211 go on normal but not dry. Test somewhere else first!

I have found that the rubber straps and filler hose seem to get the staining going the worst. I slipped some tubular nylon webbing over the rubber straps and it slowed the staining considerably

I tried a 20” prop in a 550sx pump that worked for another member but the Yamaha just spun it The pump swap works awesome for me. With something higher than my 9/17 I would be easily over 50+ Can certainly pull it!

My Yamasaki is running 48 with a 9-17 scat and gets there quick. Dead stock 701 from a Raider Plenty more there but nice and reliable as is Gotta love it!

Factory B pipe mod length fits in nice Stock SJ motor mounts fixed almost all the vibration I had earlier. Dead stock Raider motor hits the rev limiter at 48.7 mph with a 9-17 Plenty more potential but I am super happy the way it is

I fit a FPP mod pipe in the same setup and it pulls hard … SJ waterbox and out the SX rear exhaust works awesome Using a 9-17 Skat and 750 pump swap Plenty for me

How is the vibration ?

Did anyone else try this fix? Ski is smooth through out the revs

My Yamasaki had the same vibration just off idle… chased everything but nothing helped Finally went to stock SJ motor mounts and machined bed plate to fit and all is great! FPP mod pipe fits without mods or a blistered hull and pulls hard! Hope you finished yours up…
