Get those butt connectors that are heat shrinkable. You just crimp the wires in and heat up and it seals everything all up. Get them at any automotive parts store.

All SBN 38's have 3 bolt holes, SBN 44's have 4 bolt holes, even the old BN's. Look for a SBN 44, but you'll have to get a different intake manifold. You can also find a Keihin 42 and bore your existing manifold out to accommodate it.
