i use ODI rogue grips and wear gloves. gloves are the best protection from blisters. youll still get callouses from wearing gloves though. you have far greater strength when wearing gloves.

guage goes to input on carb. blockoff the return on the carb. pump and watch for the highest psi right b4 the valve opens. to get a more accurate reading, spray some dubya-D into the inlet of the carb first to ensure that air doesnt hinder your reading(s).

are you talking about turfing right up against the metal? if so, it wouldnt insulate very well unless maybe you added some padding between the metal and turf. good idea though........ but pounding the turf with a mallet might give some unpleasant results on your roof.
