    i Don't believe you would have enough surface area touching the hull providing structural integrity. Remember the foam actually bonds to the hull where it comes into contact but I love the though! Keep the ideas coming :biggthumpup: Mark44

    i O no you need foam for structural integrity or you would have to build a truss type bracing in the hull adding weight. IMO. Mark44

    To big need a smaller plug for this location. I have not found anything that is why mine is drilled and tapped 1/4" NPT but I am sure they are out there. Mark44

    Sorry wrong.......Foam contains cells of air. This makes it light weight and very good for gasketing, sealing and cushioning applications. Open-cell foam has cells that connect to one another like sponge closed-cell foam has cells that are completely closed. Great stuff is not like a sponge...

    u Not at all, I was able to use the pour in foam method and allow for channels horizontally and vertically under hull penetrations to channel any moisture to the rear drains it just takes a little though and planning. Think about it:biggthumpup: Mark44

    U Yep my thoughts exactly the hull manufacturers I mean aftermarket manufacturers need to do a little more engineering or hire an engineer to do it for them so these nice hulls can get drains in them. :biggthumpup: Mark44
