we had a big (20 standups) crew out on lake mead sunday 11-18-2008. pyrogirl171 posted more pic's in the nevada section - special event post on www.pwctoday.com it was about 82' light winds + killer. i hurt all over all day monday. gorilla

last year they said there was a wild wind storm that blew down the construction guide line towers, and they had to start over. the new freeway roads are all done and ready for the traffic, but no bridge !!! we all launched at willow beach back in the day after the finals and rode our ski's up...

i thought i would bump this up for seats to look at. he just posted a 650sx pjs pipe for sale, and that pipe should work just as good if not better than my sj cheater pipe setup i put on this fx1. gorilla

about an 8.5 with a stock 61x motor + sn alum waterbox. i had a 93 701 61x sn with dual sbn 38's on it + a f/b limited pipe. ever time i try'd to ride, the chamber kept falling off-apart from the head pipe, so i sold it + never really got a chance to get it wet and see how far i could take it...

that 95 sn came alive !!! all i had to do was back the low speed jet out to 2 turns. i'm sure if i had the time to play with the stock 44mm sbn carb, i could make it a litttle better, but it worked fine for my fat a$$ !!! that is by far the best banana's you can spend on a upgrade compared...

the 95 fx1 i had, had the same pipe setup on it. it had the good wetjet 46mm intake setup too. i put 145-120 jets, a 95 spring, + a 2.3 n's. it had 18lbs of pop-off. started everytime - right away, and even idled. it was a little monster !!! but too small of a hull for my fat a$$ !!! gorilla

i'm just going to try it with the stock carb for now. so riding buddy's might bring out there jet box, then i can play with the carb. i know from exp (95 fx1) that this is the cheapest way to get the monster out of a 61x motor for hardly any banana's. gorilla

the farther away from the crankshaft air flow, the more the gases with mix up + will also make the reed petals last longer. i used with + with out, and there is a good gain using it. just like the kid stated "GO REED SPACER GO" !!! good luck gorilla

the factory pipe waterbox is done. i almost got the whole sj chaeter pipe done. the 650sx pipe i got from a member on pwctoday had a torn rubber coupler. i'm just waiting for find a used 4" coupler for the chamber to stinger, do some water line routing, and then i should be good to get wet +...

you should be able to get it wet without having to do anything to your ski. good luck gorilla

i'm on the sn buildup again now that i'm settled in downtown las vegas. i removed the stock waterbox + yamaha stock pipe and found that the inner rubber coupler on the pipe was torn and leaking. what a find !!! i then installed the sn factory pipe waterbox i got here, the factory pipe 61x...

change the pa-speaker system. i was sitting in the front row for freestyle and those speakers were "WAY TOO LOUD" !!! maybe put them under the stands, or placing them on stands away from the railing's. gorilla
