Second ride with our new JetManiac Steering Nozzle. Either hit it on the bottom with a shallow landing in the surf, or just lost a bolt... or both. oh well... Ride it... Break it... Fix It... Ride it... Rinse and Repeat!.. :-).
I pulled the pump out of my Superjet to install a Jetmaniac bored nozzle and trim. I have a Solas YB-CD-13/17 impeller. The leading edge of the prop looks a bit rough. Should I try to fix it or is it no big deal?
We just pulled the Yamaha 6m6 (650) motor from our SN Superjet and dropped a 61x 701 in it.
We've been thinking about a Kawi 650/750 conversion to replace the 550 piston port motor thats in our 550sx now because i'm 6' 4" 215 and the skis a bit undepowered even though the 550 is pretty...
Rob and Dino... This is for you... Steve grabs a big hand full of Kawasaki.... 1200 cc triple shortened SXR.
ROB... heard about your unfortunate accident ... Glad to hear you and your family are OK. Hopefully this will bring a smile.... Missing you here in havasu.
I like to run my 701 SN underwater, or at least try tricks that get alot of water in the hull. We installed an Epic Scupper combined with a 500gph bilge that works great most of the time. The problem is i run an open element flame arrester (tau ceti or Pro-K) and sometime water splashes into...
Who's going to world finals? My son and I are going to world finals for the oct 5 th to 7 th weekend. First time ever to a world finals.
It would be great to meet some of the folks on this forum. We're brining the Superjet and the 550sx.
Where do people hang out?
I'm taking the coupler off my 6m6 motor to swap it out with a Kawasaki coupler because the 650 is going in my kawi 550 hull.... :-). Is the coupler a right hand thread? Lefty loosey, righty tighty?
I was planning on using the rope in the cylinder trick to remove it unless anyone has a better...
Just bought a 90 Superjet and rebuilt it. Part of the build was installing an Epic Scupper Valve.
The Scupper valve was $99 and is a really nice looking part that uses strong magnets to pull it shut so it doesn't leak. you need to also buy a length of 2" PVC pipe that slightly longer than the...
Was waiting for you to post Steve, so thought I'd start it off this week.
Thanks for the idea on the hood straps...
And the video of the new Superjet build...

Just bought a 90 Squarenose Superjet that has a good motor, some good AM parts, but was really ugly. Probably why we got a good deal on it. It has...
Shortened RN pole
blowsion turn plate
0 degree bars
x-metal pole bracket
blowsion klowner foot holds
solas 13/18 prop
jet dynamics top loader...
Just got a new to me SN Superjet. Thing runs strong but is butt ugly so we're doing a build project. I found this in the hull tie wrapped to a cooling line down near the coupler. What is it and where does it go? The ski did not have a coupler cover on it, so I bought one and figured this...
I just bought this Superjet for a great price ( probably because it's butt ugly). It's already repainted and we're putting on new turf, scupper valve, hood straps, and pole limiter. The handle pole doesn't look like the stock pole on a 90 SN. This one is quite a bit shorter. Anyone know what it's?
41 degree air temp... Water felt warm... Hail on the highway actually looked like snow. High wind broke loose a section of dock from thenlaunch ramp.
Old school kawis still on the water
