It could. It is most likely the starter relay. Get into the electrical box and jump the nodes of the relay with a screwdriver. If it turns over, it's the relay. If it doesn't, then we go from there. (ground, battery, starter, switch, etc.)
I guess we may be able to rule out the crappy Florida gas now.
What octane are you running and what is your compression? Are you detonating? This has not been a good 2008 for you, Mikey.
I just twist them until they pull out. Then I just push them back in. I haven't had one come out spontaneously ever.
If you're just twisting, fug it, lock the vice grips on 'em and twist. Voila!
