For those that have painted a round nose pole, do yo remove the top and bottom black plastic pieces? Im puting one on my sxr and it has to get painted, so Id like to know how to go about this.

nvm I got it. Its an 04, yes I can jump the sensor wires or plug in the FPP plug, but I got the advance plate for free and chose to do it this way.

how do I get thoe cover out of my ski? I dont know how to disconnect the wires that run through it

Ok, got the cover off. Now, how DO i get those wires out of the cover, or get the cover out so I can work on it? Also, do i have to grind the inside face of the cover? Ive heard that the plate sticks out further and hits the cover.
