    Chinpad

I tried marine-tex and zip ties already. The chin pad rips off each time I do a sub... I do a sub, the superjet and I go under and the chinpad floats off. :banghead:

    MY new toy...

B.reak O.out A.nother T.housand... Welcome to the wonderful world of boat ownership. We love our boat as it lets us entertain, ski, wakeboard, and get to places WITH a cooler of beer we wouldn't be able to get to otherwise. You'll have a blast!

    Chinpad

The front "lip" is ripped, and the rear mounts where the bolts screw into are ripped out. All that's left of the rear mounts is the foam.

    Chinpad

Great weekend, but major suckage. I'm still in the process of learning how to do a sub. I've gotten it down pretty well where I can do them, a lot of time now. On one attempt I was little too vertical in the tray and I got flipped over the superjet and my thighs ripped the chin pad off...

need my Sea$hit SPI ready for my bro-in-law

As long as your drive-shaft isn't seized to the bearing it's not too difficult to pull. It does take a lot of elbow grease. Make it easy on yourself and make the puller. :)

need my Sea$hit SPI ready for my bro-in-law

I had my wife fab me a puller at VA Tech's metal shop when she was an architecture student. :arms: Or you could just use 2 old lawn mower blades. :)

    Pics

Hey Jimmy, thanks for your help with my old 550. You helped me save the motor after sinking it. :) Here's a bunch of pictures my buddy took at the freeride. http://sports.webshots.com/album/559283089MarnuL

440... worthy to mod or scrap...

I just sold my 550. It was stock with the exception of a ride plate, intake grate, and a waterbox. I weigh 175 and I was able to get decent air off of my own wake. Even more air off of my boat's wake. Don't let the SJ downers get on your case. The 550/440 can be a blast especially for the...

any one have one of these for transporting?

Hey when I bought your 550, I ended up buying a cheap one from Pep Boys. BTW, hope you build your SN better then you redid the exhaust on that 550 you sold me. ugh... :banghead:

Sweet! Thanks to whomever it was that cancelled! I just called and got a waterfront tent site. :) I'll be coming down with my wife and 2 friends. We'll either be bringing our boat plus a standup or 2 couches and a standup.

    300/440/550 87 550 exhaust options

Hey question. I have an 87 JS 550 that a previous owner converted to rear exhaust. It also has a westcoast 5 gallon gas tank. Does anyone know what types of aftermarket exhaust will fit with the westcoast gas tank in place?
