its amazing what people can do with a standup jetski on a weeklong houseboat trip when they are drunk and bored. my 550 pulled two adults on this tube. also pulled my buddy on a wakeskate. at first we launched him from the houseboat. did a deep water start after he fell.

you should throw some tubbies on that thing while your messin with it. funny, theres an indian (7-11 indian, not casino indian)family that lives near me and there is a flatdeck 550 hull in their yard. it looks like its been there a while so im assuming it came with the place.

you can probably buy a used 550 ride plate for $20 or $30 and d-cut it. it will cost you more than that to make one unless you already have everything you need. IMO , not worth the time/hassle

are you saying, you will either upgrade just your hull or just your motor?

right on thats probably how i would do it. one with a big motor for flatwater and one with a reliable mild powerplant for freeride/friends

i was at either walmart or pep boys and saw a hitch carrier that was rated 1000lbs. if i remember correctly it was only like $65.

i have a wamiltons and a blowsion joe kenney hood. the wamiltons looks like its higher quality but the jk hood is alot lighter.
