Thanks. I think the problem is that I took 2 minutes to look at it at 6am in the morning while walking through the garage to go to work. When I get home I'll try again and post pics if it's screwed up.

The alignment pins on my wear ring and stator section don't line up. They are around the same bolt hole, but on opposite sides of the bolt hole. Can I grind the pins off? I pieced together the pump so I don't know the years of everything but I believe the sttor section is from an early year...
