    OK I would fill the hole you cut and make a new one. As for the hose, Get one fo ra round nose and then take a piece of your stock one and slide it over the rear tube to make up the size difference. GOOD LUCK!

    No, once you contact the mat to the hull it is stuck. If you try to peel it up it will rip. Are you using a precut kit or cutting yourself from sheets? If you are doing it yourself you should leave excess around all the edges and then trim once glued. Also prefit your pieces before applying...

    80 Grit is a bit to much... you should have it wet sanded with a minumum of 400 grit. With 80 grit you will see every scratch, unless you plan on loading on the primer and then wet-sanding that out with 400-600 grit.

    Yes the contact cement MUST be dry to the touch on both the ski and the hydroturf. When turfing on any bends or curves use the heat gun to mold the hydro turf to the curves. Like I said, just take your time and you will do fine.

    Those ate 24-7 foot holds. One recomendations I can make is use a electric heat gun to get the turf soft it is much easier to work with. Also make sure your contact cement is good and dry before applying the turf. Its not hard, just take your time and you can use cardboard to make yourself...

    Well I went with the black turf for the fact that I wanted molded turf. It came out pretty good. I still need to do my chin pad but the turf on that is being a biotch comming off!!! I was also happy I was able to do my rails with only 1 seam on each side. Here are some pics of the progress.

    Paint is a hell of alot easier to apply and get to look nice over gel coat! If you were making somethign from a mold thats a whole different animal.

    You will be fine just grind it out a bit so it is smooth to prevent further cracks...
