I use Window's Movie Maker. You can import the raw footage into WMM and after you edit (add music etc) you can simply save to your computer then upload that file to vimeo or youtube.

right on bro! the only thing to remember is, you need to be fairly close to the intended film target. the wide angle makes everything appear smaller and further away.

I never use goggles... don't like them at all.
Wrestling shoes are great, i wear 2mm dive sox in them for some extra padding, but the tops of my feed still get sore. I need to put some add'l padding in the tops of my footholds.
