im using an aftermarket hood seal that does the same thing.. there is a huge gap and people always ask if my hood is latched.... but it has held up to plenty of surf abuse with just regular hood latches and wamilton stupid bungee hoodstraps.
i just sink mine....it usually stays put
has anyone tried using a thick layer of vinyl (kinda like that clear bra stuff, or just thick vinyl wrap material) to cover the bottom of their ski?? i dont care enough about my ski, but it may help protect it a little. it would wear out pretty quick...
i think the glue/adhesive is over rated... i just run 1/4-20 bolts with locknuts instead of rivets with no glue. stands up to all my punishment so far learning br/bf's in the surf.
