Make sure you take care of those pins if you're a salty boy. The little retention balls started sticking until I lubed them up with WD40.

You had some typos so i fixed it.

15 foot pancakes are easy with just the 964. Add an extra 10 mil of awesome and bring your big boy panties cuz it's gonna rip your arms off.

Phil and I use 93 octane here in VA.

Call Novi and ask for 1100 dasa jetting specs. For my Dasa 48 carbs, it was sent to me jetted for their 1100, and it was very close jetting wise on my 964 with powerfactor and MSD total loss.

Agreed. Everyone who's ridden my boat has been shocked at the power it makes. When you're already spending this kind of coin, what's a little more? Fly him down, or come on up for a weekend and ride with us and let Phil do his magic.

TPE 964 (sbt crank), power factor pipe, dasa 48mm carbs, Vforce 3 reeds, PHP intake manifold, MSD total loss, Solas pump, and P&P tuning. :) Oh, the kicker it's only 180 pounds of compression. Good old cheap pump gas. :)

I'm pretty impressed with how well the hull is holding up. It took quite a few pancakes this weekend, and 1 tiny bit of paint crack near the breather on the hood.

The 1105 with the PHP lightweight crank is bit too much for this guy. That motor is a bit frightening.... :) I'll let the others chime in on the second question. ;)
