I actually think the HT piranhas look kinda cool like that. About the flowers though... Spend an afternoon stripping the thing. The only part of that ski that isn't gelcoated is the nosepiece, so be careful there. Otherwise 3M Adhesive Remover and a good scraper and have it it.

I've got a ProTec pipe and and Ocean Pro head that are ready to go into the Square. 6m6, stock internals, stock carb/intake/reeds. Also, all MSD electronics. Probably a dumb question, but I will need to dig into that carb, right? Any suggestions on settings? I've never worked on a carb...

I roll with a layer of Under Armour, and then just my Jetpilot Flight john and Flight jacket. I think the john suit is only a 3/2. It worked just fine on the lake in January. And damn... I look good too.

Have you checked out the XFT trim system? It's pretty badass, and I think it might even need the extra clearance that you already have there.

JetSkier79...it's Jerry right? Do you just run a stock plate in the surf then? I don't think there is a shortened plate out there on the market. My buddy is heading out to the coast with me next month and he's starting from scratch with his blaster. He's convinced he needs a new plate...

Does the D Cut concept transfer over to the Blaster hull as well? I'm about 99% sure nobody actually manufactures one, but that's more of a supply/demand issue. Anyone have any insight?

Haven't tried them, but I can't imagine there is anything special about them other than a new look. Nothing wrong with that though.

I don't think xmetal is a complete system... only plate and bars. You still need to purchase the UMI bearings setup. It sure does look sexy though.
