So for the nut, mine seems to be staying tight now (I hit mine with carb cleaner, like Charlie said) I was thinking about adding a set screw to the nut to give it another lock though......we'll see :cool2: It's nice to see I'm not the only one :biggthumpup:

Yep, that's how you fix it if the sleeve by the pump is bending. My cable was brand new too, so I think they're not quite as strong as they used to be. I also have not had any problems since I reinforced it :woot:

Anybody ever have trouble with there nylock nut that holds the steering plate and bearing down :banghead: How do you keep it tight?

Stainless hardware is not listed by grades, but by alloy type like 304, 316, 18-8. Don't quote me on this, but I think the 8 is for the bolt size???

I talked to him a few days ago, he was feeling better but he still didn't know what was wrong :dunno: He was planning to see a cardiologist but I don't know when. Hopefully he'll be back in line before we know it :cheer:
