You can do it using the same padding from the tray. I've also seen a thread where someone used plexi glass with flat phillips head bolts threw the rails then turfed over that.

I actually PERFER 8mm padding. The 25 is just over kill to me and really stuffs the footholds too much. If your going really big in the ocean yeah. But for normal riding stick with 8mm HT 1 Sheet will do it 2 sheets if this is your first job UnderPad 1/2 will do everything 1 sheet if youve...
