finshed glassing the tail & rideplate hardware. Filled in the areas that were removed with foam sheet. Need to do some filling & sanding to smooth things then I'll glass the tray.
today I cleaned out the foam from the inside of the tail & removed the ride plate mounts from the peices that got choped. I also removed the rail lip from the rear & the wedge riser over the pump. I'm trying to lower the tray as much as possible. The pump hardware will end up exposed in the tray...
got both sides & the lower rear glassed. next i need to do rideplate mounts then the tray. hope to be in the water next week. i'm really anxious:cool2:
If this works out I'll get some befor & after vid to compare. At worst I'll have some opinions on what works. If the nose needs to come down I can either norrow the nose or widen the tail.

Tore the glass off a surfboard & used the foam to extend the tubbies & reshape the enitre rail.
