Pre-filters suck, and actually seem to hold the water there. OEM is the way to go IMO.

Heat gun gets too hot, and you have to hold it too far from the turf to stop it from melting it. Hair dryers are the schnizzle.....:woot:

I must admit, I am bad when it comes to taking out the garbage.:frown:

Smoke can come up through the pipe screws into the cooling lines and out the pisser when run dry on land. BUT, it would not be a lot of smoke, just a few whiffs. If it happens when your in the water, then you have issues with your head sealing.

Heat may do it, but any kink in the pipe would restrict the flow of water. It's kind of intimidating to get into at first, but once the hole is in the hull and you can see the angles required, it's easy to do.

Open e-box and cut the wires on each side of the plug.:woot:

That does not work with the x-metal style scupper. What you need to do is grind out the 2" tube so that the tube fits all the way in the scupper, while maintaining the required angle. Forgive the crappy picture.:biggrin:

Me, and it was two Ladies that made the decision under the tent. Once again, it was a great day at the races, just a bit disappointing after rushing to put a motor together on Saturday and breaking it in on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I will be there next time registered early.

I think there is a reason that the ski is in the closet, and I'm guessing it's because of a lack of space elswhere. Now with my way of thinking, I would not put anything on that hull that would add weight, if I had to lug it back inside into a closet. Some people do not have excess space...

Without port heights, his 760 cylinder is worth just as much as the 61x. IMO.
