Don't know how much the pulley system trims, but it can't be as much as a straight pull. You may want to check out thrustinnovations.com to compare to Wammers also :wiggle: I just got the straight pull but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it looks killer :headbang:

This may be a rookie question, but how exactly does this new cable end improve steering? Just looks to me like a bigger PITA when you want to remove the pump since it adds another bolt to remove :slap:

You'll have to shorthen the hull the same amount to get more steering, OR you can set the entire pump back a few inches and get the same results. But to answer your question, an OE SJ shaft is 3 pieces welded anyway, the splined end and the bearing end are machined pieces welded to a reduced...
