Bendix.... mine does it all the time, usually after 2-3 tries it cranks, when it fails to start the motor then ill replace mine lol.

Weak battery Maybe , bad ground check resistance. i run 9lbs battery and mine barrery cranks now after i added more compression. solenoids get stuck usually from trying to start the ski with a weak battery.
