You sir are spot on IMO. I worked up to Am Nat. Champion with a B pipe, ADA head, and MSD........it can be done on a budget, you just have to work harder :Banane26:

Yes, that was my original intent with this thread. I don't think surf events are having any problems getting riders from all over the world, I'm trying to figure out what we need to do to turn flatwater freestyle around and get it more mainstream :thewave: Forgive me for saying this, but...

I agree! But don't be confused by the boats that were driving by, they didn't really have a good idea of what they were trying to do. I'm trying resolve that for next year already :bigok:

I think that's the major road block for most people, I know it is for me. My personal ski wouldn't even be good for Am anymore if it weren't for all the help I get. So how do we make it cheaper again? If I win the lotto, I'll buy 200 of the baddest skis I can find and pass them out :brap:

You do not have to win to move up, it's pretty much based on whether or not you're ready to move up.
