thanks T-bone, Jeff made the pole. The bottom of the fuel tank is shaped exactly like the inside bottom of the hull. Its bolted in with 4 bolts where the tank straps were.

look at the front latch it pins the front of the hood instead of using hood hooks. you can drop the hood straight down on the hood instead of pivoting it on the front hooks and hood seal.

as long as you stay connected to the ski it doesnt hurt at all. Much less painful than a failed barrel roll attempt. It is very intimadating if you come unhooked from your ski and you look up to see it coming straight at you. Make sure to wear your helmet.
