thats a bitchin trailer! i use stock SJ bumpers instead of carpet. RN or SN work great! you can use 1 bumper on the 2" side or 2 bumpers on the 4" side. carpet is for beaches! turf the top of the center thang

this does indeed happen, but doesnt affect hood alignment. it does create a gap between the hood and seal, though.... which means the hood does not conform to the top deck's distortion.

this makes no sense. with this reasoning, yamaha would have to match stock hoods to the decks at the factory. "this one doesnt fit, so try it on that hull and lets try another hood." either that, or the hood 'distorts' with the top deck over time. i dont see that happening either. ive never...
