even with the xmetal box at dead idle both front and rear exhaust is in the water. The ski is very quiet. I noticed a great loss of weight in the nose by switching to the x-metal box.

I never had a problem with noise on my ski. The law here in NJ is 90db at idle from 5 ft away.. That would have to be one loud jet ski. There is no problem securing the box but most people need to add foam to the bottom to get it to sit nice and not have the edge of the box rubbing into the...
