I went down south to the shop today to check up on this new skooby-ride :wiggle: It is a work of art compared to any other hull I have ever seen, and I'm not just saying that. I've seen, in person, a hull from probably just about every hull builder around today.......this thing is awesome...

I have a guy here in my class tonight that works @ KSC, he works with umbilicals on the Shuttle. He's telling me we probably won't be able to launch for a few days minimum, and maybe not before the Monday cut-off....which would hold us up till April 7th-ish. This mission is taking it's own...

How much does the flywheel cover weigh? Can you post a pic of the inside of the removable cover too please? JP

I would still pull off the flywheel and check that wire. A little tug on it will let you know if it's good or not. The wire runs through a hard sleeve, so if the motor is not running it can still hold the wire in contact.

I have found MSD problems to be caused by a broken trigger pickup wire several times. Ohm it out and/or pull off the flywheel and have a look at the wire where it goes into the short solid wire loom between the front and back sides of the stator plate.

I'd be willing to bet I'll need a spot, plus 1, plus Chick if he can make it, and maybe plus Bobby is he can get the time away from his shop :beerchug: I'll see if I can round up the troops.

Oh, and I told Bobby all these new skis need to be battleship gray :fing02: With rivets painted on too.......

High 5 for Darin! I love this, Christmas is by far my favorite time of year, and not for all the commercial stuff that it's turned into lately, I'm talking about Jesus my friends. Can we keep it this way till New Years? :Banane57:
