We weighed seven skis last week

I have decided it's nearly impossible to completely seal the back end of a ski! I spent a week of evenings sanding, cleaning and sealing every hole, crack and seam in my ski with some stuff similar to 5200..... and I didn't foam the bottom half. Checked it after the first few rides by shaking...

They dowse the pad with several hundred thousand gallons of water for about 45 seconds, which starts just before the main engines and goes till the water tower empties. So......not usually too much damage.

    Space Shuttle launch tonight

So this is what it looked like. The first is a good shot right after it started moving. The second is cool because you can see vapor clouds forming at the tops of the SRBs, this should have been about the time it was breaking the sound barrier. The last one is pretty washed out but it gives...

    Space Shuttle launch tonight

Yeah, this administration appears to be more true to their first notion on the space program, which was to cut our budget to fund math and science education...........because we don't have anything to do with that stuff :buttkick: But he came here and told us how he was going to make it all...

    Space Shuttle launch tonight

Let me see if I can explain this, while making it sound as cool as it really is: Night launches with a light haze cloud cover are awesome because: 1) As the shuttle gets close to the clouds it lights up the sky with light reflecting back down. I think you can only see this if you're very...

    Space Shuttle launch tonight

Once again, it looks like we're going tonight. Trajectory is NE from here so it should be visible to much of the east coast of the US tonight. Launch time is 11:59 ET. Now get out to your local beaches and see this crew off to space :beerchug:

    Your Very First Freestyle Trick?!

My wife has been obsessed with tail stands from day 1, she has a hard time with them because she can't get the ski to sink very well so she tries every time she rides.........you'll probably have the same issues but it may be a little easier on a 650sx as compared to a SJ. But if you're looking...

    Space Shuttle launch tonight

It was pretty awesome how the weather worked out last night. It was cyrstal clear in every direction, but there was this one little storm cell right off the coast that wouldn't leave :smashfreakB: Tonight could end up the same, but I'll be here waiting......I mean working anyway :sneaky:

    Space Shuttle launch tonight

Yeah, it's pissing like a hurricane on the shuttle right now......that's not a good thing for launching tonight. I'm going home, we'll try again tomorrow night probably. Check nasa.gov for updates as well as the other sites mentioned above.
