That's the MSX switch with the "gauge mode" and it might have slightly changed but it is essentially the same as the one pictured here and the Polaris gauge for all other models. They are the only ones that had the blue button and like I said, it served a different purpose on different models.
That sure looks like a Polaris switch. The blue button was for manual bilge operation while the ski was not running. Polaris electric bilge pumps run automatically when the engine is running. Before anyone asks, no the bilge pump does not burn up running dry. Polaris had the best bilge set up...
You must not have 3 boys like I do. They can eat alot and they are not even teens yet, lol. My wife is a stay at home mom and she shops during the day with no lines. We also have a business membership at Sam's and they have a business line that is usually less congested plus you can get in an...
Looks like they finally got it right and took the 3-D out of the stand up class. Here are the results by class http://www.apbaracing.com/070228_results_hahn_class.pdf
Huge F-up on someone's part. I hope they straighten it out. The size is bad enough but the parabolic hull of the XPL/3-D is one of the better rough water hulls ever made as far as sit downs go. I asked on pwct but no one answered. Just curious but was it a 951 or 785 3-D? Not that it matters...
D, I am very disciplined so I will not go into "debt". I have enough savings to pay off the 2nd home and still have a good cushion. My concern is that one lawsuit and my paid off home is someone elses. I am self employed and a lawsuit can occur any time. I have all kinds of insurance but still...
That's not what I wanted to hear, lol. I love my river pad and it has treated me well. I got a great deal on it. The timing was good. It would cost me about the same in storage fees to keep all my toys as the mortgage is on it. I have 5 skis, 6 atvs and 3 trailers. I can't fit all of that at my...
I have 2 vehicles that I bought used and paid cash for (03 Ranger and 04 Expedition), so no car payments. I pay my single credit card off every month so no balance on that. I max an IRA for my wife and I every year. I have quite a bit saved up. All the skis were bought cash. I pay $1000 extra...
He just buys it and we are trying to spend money for him on aftermarket parts already. :)
Todd, the stand ups are fun and easy to mod. You don't know what you got yourself into, LOL.
Todd, Keep in mind that the Mikuni carbs will need a new intake manifold. The larger Keihin carbs can use the stock manifold but it does have to be modified.
Todd, Do you know what carb is on there? If it is still the stock 28mm then it is killing the other mods on it? You need, at the minimum, a 38mm Keihin stocker from 91 or so and newer or an aftermarket 44mm SBN Mikuni set up or 42mm Keihin.
I can attest to the cheap silicone. I used it once and I could pull it right out after full cure. Any good silicone/adhesive should work. I have always used the GE Silicone II with no problems.
Yes it is the stock pipe water dump line. Block it off and you're good to go. Make sure to zip tie the fuel lines too. In the pic I saw of your ski, there were no hose clamps or zip ties on the fuel lines.
