Nope, I am not on that project, but the company I work for is building the building and doing all of the civil work leading up to it. I was involved in Lordstown, Ohio and currently in Lansing, Mi. There's a small chance I'd end up in South Bend but its been slow to start. All of the...
I am working out of town building another battery plant for GM. I was trying to do my homework on this motor before I got home yesterday and was hoping someone had a quick answer. Inwas able to finally pull it last night. I have plenty of free time at work since these monstrous battery plant...
A complete disassembly has happened, my buddy tore it down last night. I'll inspect it this weekend. You can also advance the timing by rotating the flywheel on the crank without using the keyway, I've seen it done before with heaping amounts of loctite. Had to take one off of a motor and it was...
Agreed, I would think detonation would cause both cylinders to have similar issues. I'm pretty sure this was a basket case/thrown together ski so I'm not ruling anything out. The unfortunate part is the owner let a friends kid ride the ski and we have no idea what symptoms it was giving or how...
I'm not sure it is this flywheel, the holes are not round like the jetinetics and there are 8 phillips head screws on the engine side of the flywheel as opposed to 4 on the jetinetics you posted. It could be an older, different jetinetics...I'll know more when I get my eyes on it friday. Trying...
It doesn’t seem to have the same hole pattern as RAD and definitely not the current Jetinetics, unless they’ve changed over the years. The Rad holes are circles and these seem oblong. Maybe @MTRHEAD recognizes it. He seems to have an eye for all the parts I don’t recognize haha.
I am helping someone with an SXR and I do not recognize this flywheel. He has burned a hole in the front piston right under the plug likely due to detonation, probably too low of octane, maybe too much timing advance. Tearing it down for a rebuild. Unfortunately this ski is new to him and this...

I put their new single finger throttle on my '24 SJ and love it. I'm sure they'll be back in stock soon. Give Scott at Blowsion an email, he's been great to work with and has kept me updated on other out of stock items I've needed. I've been able to place orders on out of stock items and he...
Nice find, the Octane is such a fun ski even with though it has the turning characteristics of a sheet of plywood. If you're not going to use the OEM finger throttle assembly, I have someone interested in it. Let me know, thanks!
I've noticed an increase in stand-up riders on Lake St Clair the past 4-5 years, predominantly on older skis of all kinds with a few "flip skis" and 4 strokes mixed in. It's been nice to see. There are a lot of riders out there in small groups, would be cool to see them all for a gathering. With...
About 8 years ago I stopped at a local, popular liquor store in Detroit that also serves hot food, sandwiches etc. I had been there the day before for lunch and everything was tasty. It was winter time and I was stacking piles of salt for a landscaping company for the season, I was cold and...
Thanks for your hard work, BK! I just read his post, before getting to yours, and hovered over his username and all I could think was that this is another scammer! These idiots don't realize us jetskiers have nothing to scam, we spent our money on skis and getting those skis into and to the...
