Wow, that is so cool. I noticed the one on the taller stand has a different hull... Those should be on display somewhere, very very cool find.

to scupper or not to scupper

My buddy that I ride with has decided that he is going to fill his in when we rebuild his ski this winter. I like how fast they dump water, but it does come with a price.

to scupper or not to scupper

I never thought about a scupper letting all the air out of the hull... I did the ol' home depot check valve and threw a 24/7 scupper on the outside and it still leaks a little. I have yet to find a 100% solution other than having a bilge pump also. When I had the Blaster that I painted pulled...

    XFT custom paint contest winners!

Yeah, first thing I noticed was that our designs were just about the same. You know what they say... great minds.... I kind of had a feeling that putting the girl on the side might be more hindrance and thought about leaving her off, but then I thought... What would I paint if this was an...

Would you pour foam at 61F and humid?

When it's cold and I want to pour foam I just warm up the area that I am pouring in with a halogen light.

    Nascency Promo

I'd have to agree with that 100% Everyone makes a big deal about supporting the aftermarket companies that support our sport... I don't see this as being any different. Great job Chris!

    Helmet Cam set ups

I found that you need to be right on top of guy you are shooting if you are going to get something that doesn't look like you are 100 yards away. That lense does help keep things smooth though. We found that mounting the camera on the side of the helmet down by your cheek or jaw makes for...

X-Metal Works lives up to their reputation

What could have easily have been a LONG drawn out problem was resolved QUICKLY. He responded to my emails right away, provided a solution to the issue...

    The Beach toolbox...essentials

Kenny Keepers can help keep that from happening. Not sure if someone already mentioned it, but dielectric grease is a pretty good thing to have especially for saltwater. If you need to washout the ski before you get home having a jug of saltaway with you helps too.

    My latest paint: Stripper Superjet

Price for that ski before for the girl including materials: $1200 Add another $300 for the stripper, $500 if the illustration is bigger and has more detail like the Betty Page mermaid. It really all depends on how long it takes me and how much of a pain in the a$$ it is to pull off. The...
