how to 750 pump into an x2

I am going to do this swap eventually to my ski. I mocked it up one day and saw what needed to be done. Someone should really make a kit to do it. Think of how easy it would be. All it would take is a custom intake grate and pump shoe! They could perhaps offer a ride plate but that part is...

    Any new mods to share?

Pete, I am not too sure but maybe one of these or a 650 SX plate would work. I know a 650 SX has 6 total bolts. I used to have a 91 650 SX. It would still be hard to make the bolt but you could use a set of those threaded inserts epoxied in place. Just a thought...

Best bigbore setup and where to get it done.

I had Group K port a 750 SS cylinder, deck the cylinder, mill a 750 head, nozzle boring, mod a 759 single manifold for a Keihin 42, and machine the 750 SS cases for a 650 stator about 5 years ago. Well after it seized they were well let's say far less han helpful in diagonising my problem...

Pics of my Latest X-2 Mods!

Looks good! One recomendation I have. Find a cheap Kawasaki 650 SX start/stop switch. Then swap out the internals of your X2 switch to the Kawasaki 650 SX one. You will have ot cut of the ends where they plug in the e-box and resoilder on new ones. BUT... you won't have that post...

    Kawasaki 650 X2 Pipe Comparisons

Ok guys, I have a Coffman Exhaust, and a Factory Pipe all for a Kawasaki 650 SX/X2. So I decided to measure them all up and see what sizes they were. I was truely shocked at how small some of the diameters are! Especially where the head pipe meets the exhaust manifold, the head pipe meets the...

Would You Buy An Aftermarket X2 Hull?

I like how they are made for a 750 pump and grate. They also have rear exhaust and a scupper, well the old Maekawa Engineering one did... But the bigest benefit is the LIGHT WEIGHT!!!

    For you MX Guys

Try their MX 1 and MX 2. MX3 is the best though. That games helped me make it through a computer class in college!

Identifying Big Small Pin Kawasaki 750 Cylinders

The winner! When looking at cylinders, measure the exhaust port height. Crab was right about cases, count the intake bolts. 95 ZXi was silver, the rest of the big pins were green as far as I know. If you need any more info read up here on the differences, Harry really goes into...

    Yamax2?

Yamanube, sorry if I sounded like I was getting on your case. I wasn't trying to. I want a SJ myself but I have to wait until they come down in price some or I get more debt paid off. I like the idea of having a stund up but similar to an X2 with a conversion hood :)

What brand of hand tools do you mostly use when wrenching on your ski?

All Craftsman for me! I like Snap On and Mac but I #1 don't have that kind of money and #2 the Snap On man is harder to find than a Sears. the Craftsman catalogue has some Falcom/SK tools in it. They also carry some Lisle tools. Lisle makes some niche specific automotive tools which are...

    B-Pipe on a 650 ?

Well that sucks! Looks like someone needs to import the Japanese carbon fiber versions then :).

Any USA Dealers carry the cool X-2 Bling?

If someone has access to a CNC mill that is your best bet. That way only one program has to be written. The cable and lever from a BMX shop should be no more than 35-40 max. The big dollars will be in the machine time, programming, and raw alinum cost. If you guys are running salt water, I...

    Japanese Kawasaki BRAAAAAAAAAAAP

They probably just used the CNC pattern they already had programed from the billet Yamaha cylinders. Is the exhaust ports larger on that type of manifold? Either that or since it is proven with powervalves, why not. I WANT ONE!!!!!!!

    Yamax2?

I hear X2 Cartel has a hydrogen peroxide injected high presure.... I saw a show on discover where this hydro racing boat had twin gas turbine engines in a boat that competed against the Miss Bud Weiser boat. They make smaller turbines, that engine may be an opppurtunity. Those engines...

    Yamax2?

I hate it when people build a Ford roadster and put a Chevy engine in them. Never understood why but someone told me that it is was because the Chevy drive line was easier to mock up in the Ford chassis/body.

    Kawi 10mm stroker

It does look like a Yamaha exhaust to me too Wax. You could still use any exhaust pipe you wanted though since FPP uses a three bolt head pipe and their manifold matches it. Those are definetly Kawie cases.

    B-Pipe on a 650 ?

They are getting hard to find. Last I knew FPP wasn't making anymore. X2Guy had a chamber for sale. You could buy it an a head pipe diret from FPP and have a 650 pipe. I must say though as big as the FPP 650 pipe is, the FPP SJ pipe is bigger. I am curious to tryone of those or the FPP WB...

    new X2 pics

JohhnyX2 on PWCT says it handles better than the old X2. But I think it is the weight. Probably ride just like an SXR since it has the same bottem deck. I would still take one. Better yet an aftermarket freestyle 800 New X2 hull from Japan like Rotation has!
